Juneteenth Virtual Brunch: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Finance
The Richmond Chapter of Urban Financial Services Coalition invites influencers and leaders from across the financial services industry to the “Juneteenth Virtual Brunch: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Finance” session on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 11:15 am Eastern Daylight Time.
Diversity is often perceived to be about perspective, presentation, tough conversations, and supporting inclusion. Inclusion prompts answers about creating environments conducive to feedback, supporting diversity, and being open. Equity was described as fairness, sameness, and valuing diversity and inclusion. Put simply, diversity, equity and inclusion is important because people deserve better. Your employees aren’t a facet of your business – they are your business. Providing a more rounded, more inclusive culture for your employees is an essential first step in improving overall employee engagement. An inclusive environment ensures equitable access to resources and opportunities for all. An inclusive culture that leverages diverse views will be an important element in determining an organization’s success.
This group of subject matter experts will share their insights on how Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Finance applies to their specific focus areas of expertise.
