banking education awareness month
UFSC has designated February as "Banking Education Awareness Month"
(BEAM). It is the goal of UFSC, through local chapters, to educate high
school and college students about the highly competitive and rewarding
career opportunities in banking and finance. Through job fairs, career
days and resource materials, students are introduced to banking and
finance career options. Emphasis is placed on academic preparation and
the ongoing need for minority representation at all levels within the
banking and financial industries.
