national program fund initiative

The Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC) is offering the first round of grant funds for the National Program Fund Initiative (NPFI). The NPFI was established to provide funds to local UFSC Chapters for the purpose of assisting with the development and implementation of National or Local Programs or providing Technical Assistance to Local Chapters. UFSC will awards grants of up to $1,000 for actual costs of material and supplies for a specific program. All Chapters are encouraged to approach the UFSC with a grant proposal request.

Attached below is the NPFI document which includes the grant application, guidelines, proposal data request, and general information in reference to the grant process. Please be advised that the application deadline is May 15, 2001. In keeping with the request of President Fred Thomas, there will be no exceptions for late applications. Recipients of the NPFI grant will be notified the week of May 28th, during the 27th Annual Conference for the UFSC.
