UFSC Strengthens Leadership Team
Walter Brown, Jr. has been appointed Chairperson of the Urban Financial Services Coalition’s Multiple Strategies Working Committee. In this capacity, Walter will serve on the UFSC’s National Board of Directors and oversee the organization’s Mortgage Crisis and White House Task Forces, communications with the United States Senate, Congress and Regulatory Entities and collaborations with other minority organizations.
Walter, a San Francisco native, is the Principal of the financial services firm WB Lending Solutions/ WB Strategies and a past inter national president of UFSC.
In addition to his service to UFSC, Walter is an advisory board member for the 22,000 faculty and students at Diablo Valley College in the San Francisco Bay Area. Walter also writes articles and provides interviews for broadcast radio and other media outlets. He assists consumers, financial institutions and state and federal officials by providing ongoing technical advice and services on select financial matters.
Walter enjoys spending his leisure time with his children, grandchildren and friends. Walter is an active member of the UFSC San Francisco – Bay Area Chapter.
