Meet Roderick Hayes… your 2016 National President
Committed. Talented. Versatile.
These are just a few of the words to describe Roderick Hayes. You may know him as the incoming National President for UFSC, but he is so much more.
For example, did you know that Roderick serves as the Director of Music at his church? Or, that his hobbies include shopping, travel, toast masters, interior decorating and afternoon naps on the sofa? How about the fact that he spent 2 years at the Municipal Securities Rule-making Board (www.msrb.org)
Roderick joined UFSC in October 2008. Although Roderick attended UFSC events while living in Richmond VA, he officially made St Louis his first chapter home. As a UFSC member in St Louis, Roderick helped the local interest group become a chapter. And in June 2010, Roderick chaired the national Community Empowerment Day at the Annual Summit in Kansas City, MO.
Roderick has served in many roles on the local and national level for UFSC:
- UFSC member: St Louis, Charlotte and Richmond Chapters
- VP and later President, of the St Louis Chapter
- Administrative VP of Membership
- Conference Planning 2011-2015
- National Vice President 2013-2015
In his professional career, Roderick works as a Business Analyst for Wells Fargo Advisors. Roderick has been working in the financial services industry for 16 years, with the last 2 years at Wells Fargo affiliates. Roderick’s background is centered around Municipal Syndicate Trading, Trade Support and project implementation.
Roderick is also very civic-minded and is involved in the local community where he lives and works, which currently is Richmond VA. He finds participation in team member networks rewarding, both personally and professionally.
Roderick enjoys all that UFSC offers including community service, professional development and networking.
