Adriana Fields – Loan Review Analyst, Academy Bank
Fields joined Academy Bank in 2017 after seven years at UMB Bank. She has worked her way up to vice president and loan review analyst III. Fields went through Academy’s internal leadership training program and now is actively involved in recruiting and mentoring the bank’s summer interns. She’s also on its Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging Committee. Outside the bank, Fields is treasurer of the Urban Financial Services Coalition of Greater Kansas City, which is devoted to improving financial conditions in underrepresented areas of the metro area.

Theodis Watson – Director of Community Development, CrossFirst Bank
Watson is dedicated to addressing the large number of Black and Hispanic people who are underbanked. In his position, he works with local leaders to ensure that the banking needs of the entire community are being met. He is national president of the Urban Financial Services Coalition, chairman of United Inner City Service, a board member of the Prospect Business Association and on the Capital Advisory Committee for the city of Kansas City. He volunteers with Kansas City Tomorrow, SCLC Black Achievers Society and other organizations.
