Adrienne Whitaker

Adrienne P. Whitaker, UFSC’s Foundation Chair.  Adrienne has experience in sales, marketing, community relations, and diversity, equity, & inclusion (DEI) in various leadership roles working in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She is also the co-founder of L2L Leadership Institute. She serves as the DEI Director for Virginia Housing, a privately funded financial services authority. She also serves as National President of the Urban Financial Services Coalition Foundation. She formerly was a business development executive at SOAR365, where she was responsible for advocating and providing employment for people with disabilities. She served as the Vice President of Philanthropy & Marketing at Virginia Home for Boys and Girls, as Vice President of Institutional & External Affairs at Virginia State University, and as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at SunTrust Bank (currently Truist Bank).

Adrienne obtained her bachelor’s of arts degree from William and Mary. She is a graduate of a leadership program at University of Richmond and the graduated from Sorensen Institute for Political Leaders at University of Virginia. She obtained her certification in diversity, equity, and inclusion from Cornell University. She also received a leadership certification from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
