Debra Bronston
Vice President of UFSC and Managing Partner of On-Point Career Strategies (OPCS). OPCS offers high quality, progressive and personalized career navigation tools that allow individuals, from entry-level professionals to senior executives, to take charge of their career destiny and become their own career managers. OPCS also offers businesses a cadre of high caliber and right-fit employment candidates to build high-performing teams and secure bench strength to compete and win in the marketplace. Debra began her business career as a Financial Examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City where for 11 years, she examined large and complex state member banks and bank holding companies in the Tenth Federal Reserve District. Debra established and spearheaded the bank’s diversity strategy, a high profile role that for 21 years, enabled her to expand her influence across the organization and significantly impact its talent recruitment and retention and cultural change. Debra retired from the bank in 2011. She is a leader, member and supporter of organizations such as Black Achievers of Kansas City, National Association of African Americans in Human Resources and National Black MBA Association. Debra holds an Executive Master of Business Administration Degree from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, MO and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Grambling State University, Grambling, LA. She is also a graduate of the Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac New Venture Program.
