San Francisco Chapter

San Francisco

Founded on February 20, 1979 by a group of minority bankers from the San Francisco Bay Area and was incorporated as a charter of the national organization. This new chapter immediately established a network of dedicated professionals to promote community awareness on the various aspects of banking and finance related issues. On June 22, 1982, the chapter became an affiliate of the Urban Financial Services Coalition. As an affiliate of the national organization, the members dedicate themselves to shared goals that promote professional development and personal growth. Our members demonstrate support to our communities through personal involvement, specifically targeting economic improvement.
