The featured speaker for this session is Dr. Deran R. Whitney, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Program Coordinator of the Administration and Supervision Program at Shenandoah University.

This session will identify how a personal mission statement can enhance your personal and career goals.  Participants will be able to identify their assets, characteristics, strengths, and skills as an individual. Creating a personal mission statement will allow participants to understand the effects of how you present yourself and how others see you.  A personal mission statement will help you identify your personal beliefs and objectives, defining what matters most to you professionally.  Furthermore, this session will help participants understand the importance of decision-making; it will help clarify whether the decisions you are making are in alliance with what you want for your life and future.

This leadership series is open to entrepreneurs, college students, business leaders and non-profit leaders.
