MARK I VPLB is a four-day leadership development program designed by UFSC to develop future minority leaders in the financial services industry and teach them how to economically empower their communities. There are five focus areas that minority participants in the program develop through the project-based leadership competition: personal leadership skills, financial intelligence, job readiness skills and personal branding.

Through this unique and first of its kind virtual program, where they will receive the following:

  • An opportunity to connect with like-minded young people who are interested in leadership and living their best life

  • Learn about different career opportunities within the financial services industry

  • Meet with leaders in the financial services industry who can assist them with finding a mentor, internship and employment opportunities

  • Start to build their professional network of seasoned financial professionals who can support them in their future endeavors and who are willing to share their knowledge and wisdom.

The MARK I VPLB promises to help your young people stand out from the crowd and the cost is only $99 if you register them before June 11 and $125 if you register them before June 18. They can register at https://2021UFSCVirtualBootCamp.eventbrite.com.

If you have a young person that you would like to nominate, but does not have the financial means to attend, please have them complete the attached application and we will work with you to get their fees covered.  We do not want money to get in the way of them participating.
