The Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC) has announced that its 42nd Annual Summit and 6th Annual African American Briefing will be held in Washington, DC on June 23-25, 2016. This will be the first time that the two events will run simultaneously. This joint event will give members and constituents an opportunity to convene and discuss the current state of and changes in, the financial services industry affecting their personal and professional lives. There will be information sessions on topics including, but not limited to, career planning, financial literacy, regulatory and economic updates, entrepreneurship, not-for-profit service and professional development and leadership. The signature Oratorical and Youth Business Plan Competitions will also be offered.
UFSC supports programs that offer practical benefits for financial services industry professionals and businesses. The organization’s underlying goals are to increase the number of minorities in the financial services industry, strengthen the financial fitness of low-to-moderate income communities and provide scholarships to minority youth pursuing financial services careers.
The Annual Summit and African American Briefing will be held at the beautiful Capitol Hill Visitor Center.
