Join Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC) for a special session entitled “Leveraging the Power of Tacit Knowledge in the Financial Services Industry” on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time.  The featured speaker is Cliff Mahto, MBA, Ed.D, Vice President, Business Support Consultant Wells Fargo.

In 2020 many states have entered their nadir years of workforce growth, this coupled with higher then forecasted baby boomer retirements and a declining number of new immigrants entering the workforce has created a shortage of the nuanced knowledge required in our industry.  This seminar provides an overview of: the declining American workforce, how knowledge is created, the barriers to knowledge transfer, and recommendations of a study involving operations professionals from five firms and two consultants.
